Camp Fire USA Discovery Program

For boys and girls, 6th through 8th grades.

In Discover Camp Fire, youth explore how to participate as a member of a club, family, school, church, neighborhood, team, etc. In Discover Yourself, youth explore who they are, who they want to be, they plan for the present and prepare for the future. In Discover Community, youth have the opportunity to learn how communities work and how they can affect changes in their communities. Members may also work on more detailed, indvidual Torch Bearer projects of special interest to them. The Camp Fire Motto is "Give Service." Discovery members are encouraged to give service by volunteering in their communitites. The program is designed to allow the kids more involvement in the planning of meetings and activities.
