We know there are plenty of choices when it comes to how you could spend your summer--here is why you should spend it with us.

Camp Fire USA provides valuable training. Staff orientation and specialized training sessions provide a strong foundation to assume summer responsibilities as well as responsibilities in the future. Employers will love to hear about your leadership roles, your position as a role model for children and your ability to work as a team member.

The social experience is terrific. You’ll be working with top caliber men and women from around the world!

We are recruiting college students, teachers, coaches, outdoor enthusiasts, medical professionals and other support personnel who also:

  • Provide a positive role model for youth.
  • Enjoy working with kids.
  • Have lots of energy and enthusiasm. Camp is a wonderful place and we are looking for caring staff to help make sure our campers have the best summer possible.
  • Are creative. Being creative doesn’t just mean you are good at arts and crafts! Creativity comes in all shapes and forms and camp is the place to share your gifts and talents with others.
  • Love for the outdoors. If your ideal workplace is surrounded by the sweet smell of trees, sun soaked days and being able to dip your toes in the pool or lake, you will love your camp “office”.

Camp Fire is in the kids business - kids are our passion and we feel that by empowering the boys and girls of today to be caring, strong and confident, we are building a better tomorrow. With almost 100 years of experience, our programs are built on a strong foundation of values that has proven results. Camp Fire is for EVERYONE and you don’t have to be a member to attend camp. Camp Fire welcomes all aspects of diversity.

What’s In It For Me?

Becoming a camp “professional” is the experience of a lifetime. The personal growth, the rewards of working with children, the excitement of an active, diverse community and the close friendships that you build will stay with you long after the summer ends. Many staff members describe their employment at camp as the BEST summer of their life.
