Free wine and hors d'oeuvres gathering

for Camp Fire USA.

Wine and hors d’oeuvres start at 5:00 pm

with musical accompaniment by Jonathan Nicholson.


Program starts promptly at 6:00 pm for one hour

What is it?

A free one-hour wine and hors d’oeuvres gathering held at the Davenport Hotel Grand Pennington Ballroom. 

 

What is the program?

Testimonials are given from Camp Fire children and mentors speaking from their hearts about their experiences in leadership and learning through Camp Fire programs and curriculum.  The program will include powerful messages about the value of Camp Fire’s youth development programs to the health of the youth in our community.

 

Why are we doing this?

What Camp Fire desperately needs is broader awareness of our programs in the community.  Even after years of telling our story, I'm sure that more than half of the area's population still thinks of girls and crafts whenever they hear Camp Fire.

Camp Fire USA delivers developmentally sound, outcome-based and completely inclusive programs for both boys and girls, and is a major factor in the healthy development of our community's youth. This Share Our Dream event will demonstrate how Camp Fire programs helps create capable leaders and productive employees in our community in the years ahead.

This major fundraiser is used to support all the programs and operations of Camp Fire USA Inland Northwest Council.  The monies are used to help cover the general operating expenses for our after school Club programs that are led by volunteer and paid staff, as well as Camp Fire’s youth camps, Camp Sweyolakan and Camp Dart-Lo.
